Succesful first event at Animalvida

21st of May, we had our first (opening) event at Animalvida - a day to mark the start of Animalvida and adoption day. We had a few dogs on our premisses up for adoption, and while no one got adopted in this round, we still got a lot of new contacts, and the pooches were given lots of attention by the many people who joined us on this special day. Thanks to the different vendors with their discounts for our special occasion, we were able to serve people free drinks and 3 different delicious paellas while live music was playing in the background. We also had great volunteers who helped up close to the day (Tim, Terry, Concha, Antonio, Xandy and Jody) and on the day - without them we would not have been able to show off our kennels and pen-areas. On top of that Animalvida had a few people with their stands from their rescue (Podenco Friends in Canada, Mijas Felina and Inez Robinson). A great and fun day filled with so many great people and dogs - thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We managed to raise just nearly 500 euros, which is incredible and have helped us cover kennelcosts we had along with vet-bills and new toys and equipment for the dogs.
